Welcome to the Northern Ireland Prisoner Release Victim Information Scheme web site. The objective of this Scheme is to provide information on the release of prisoners serving in Northern Ireland Establishments, to the victims of their crimes.

This site provides information on the Scheme, what information is available, who is eligible to participate and how to apply.

			Victims of prisoners are provided with information on the final discharge and temporary release of prisoners.
			Victims will have the opportunity to make representations when a prisoner's temporary release is being considered.
			The Scheme applies to adult prisoners sentenced to 6 months or more.
			This is a voluntary scheme and only those who choose to will receive the relevant information.
